Kuba Cloth is a traditionally woven textile that comes from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Our Kuba Cloth cushions are made from traditionally woven, long strips of hand loomed Kuba Cloth, woven from Raffia. The Kuba Cloth textiles are used in rituals and ceremonies in the Democratic Republic of Congo and each piece is between 3m and 5m in length. Traditionally, these pieces are used as dance skirts for both men and women. Due to the fact that all cloths are individually hand woven, no two are the same and each one is a unique work of art.
